Yadabyte Passwords and Yadabyte Disc released

Hi Mobile Readers,

Another MR exclusive

We have just released Yadabyte Passwords. The second in our range of Yadabyte Portables.

It is free and open source and truly portable. It also has AES 256 encryption to see that all of your passwords are kept very safe.

We are close to releasing the PPC version which will work on the same data file.

Download this and the Yadabyte Disk Encryption portable from :

http://www.yadabyte.com/Yadabyte_Portables.php

Any feedback very appreciated

HI Matt!
Looks great - I'll check it out when I'm out of work.
I like the Yadabyte Disk.
Are there any plans to implement something like that for palm?
It would be great to be able to encrypt folders on my SD card on my palm.
As far as I know, there is nothing like that available right now.

Hi Thorsten

Yes, it will be out for palm and PPC and we are working on the feasibility of a smartphone version.

The PPC version of Yadabyte Passwords will be out Monday and I hope Palm later in the week.

We are also bringing out some more apps with the same kind of ethos: simplicity, security and portability across platforms and systems.

The next being Yadabyte Notes which will be…. You guessed… a note taking application

Stay tuned

Mat

PS Ideas and suggestions always appreciated!

Hi Thorsten

We are having some issues with porting AES to palm so that it can be compatible with both PPC and XP - that’s a prime requirement of these portables

But YB notes should be released today
