Thanks by the way for the status update in the hotsync conduit for sunrise XP to the PALM. This is really nice. It gives me some idea as to how well the status of the update is going.

A quirk with this. I don't know if you can tell or not. If we update RAM it seems that the update status works fine by giving percentage counter. If you update the SD card, you don't get any notification. Can this be helped? I figure not, but was hoping.

No, this cannot be done. There's no way to monitor file transfer progress using the standard VFS functions in HotSync. It's a "black box" function.
