Automatic replace old enews files, how?

Sorry, if this question has been asked somewhere.

How I set each enews recipe to automatically replace any old fetched files by the new ones?

I set "Delete downloaded news older than 1 days", it does not work, my yesterday enews are still there.

Very strange the other night it replaces all my old feeds with the new ones. Last night some are replaced, some are not.

If you've set ti to one day it will take on average two days to remove.

I have set Calibre to keep news for one day, and in the library this works fine. But when I connect my Cybook, it downloads the news, but keeps the old ones. Is this intended behaviour, or is this because I just keep it connected for long enough to get the new news and upload/delete some books, or is this a bug?

calibre does not automatically delete files from reader devices.
