0.6.20 still hangs...

when adding or changing covers. Sometimes, not always. It's clearly improved from 0.6.19, which always hung -- but there's still a problem.

Mac OS X 10.6.1, with the "fixed" build of Calibre 0.6.20.

You have some kind of network filesystem on your machine?

Nope. Or at least, not active at any of the times this problem arises.

I've seen this problem reported by people with network mounts that have "hung" presumably because the file open dialog is trying to scan the network mount points. I certainly haven't made any changes to the file open code ina very long time, so variations you are seeing between 19 and 20 are caused by changes in your environment, not the code.

Am I crazy or did Calibre accept TXT files and now with the newest version doesn't?
