When I was running XP on this PC, all I needed to do was upload epubcheck and a batch file and everything worked first time.

Since Win 7 I cannot get the thing to work.

Can someone please guide me as to what Java I need ...
My program listing includes ...
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 5
Java Updates 3 & 16....

What is your error? Please execute an 'Java -version' and report the result.

I have used it on Vista without problems and I cannot imagine it will not work on 7.

The error is fairly straight forward .....

'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
