lines missing in viewer

I have something strange in the ePub viewer of Calibre. I have created an ePub file manually. When I view it in Calibre sometimes lines are missing. Instead I see a blank line. If I view the same ePub in ADE, the file is displayed normally.

If i looked up in the html file where things go wrong, nothing special is there. It is just the end of on and the start of the next paragraph. Other paragraphs styled in the same manner have no problems at all. It happens on more places in the ePub. Very strange.

Any ideas?

Again, in ADE this does not occur. I hope it's something simple, otherwise Calibre Rocks!

It's displaying correctly for me. Looking at the HTML within the EPUB file I don't see anything amiss.

That's the strange part. There is nothing fancy or anything in the HTML.

Will be fixed in the next release. It uses embedded fonts and font aliasing. Since the calibre viewer doesn't support font aliasing, it's using a standard windows font as a substitute and that is screwing up the rendering algorithm.
