Question Sorting and setting priority?

I have a bunch of items and they are set to autoupdate.

But if I select a bunch of items to be updated, and then update, should the priority of them be evaluated?

I would like to be able to select a bunch of items if some have higher priority, they would be run first, even if they were just selected to be run, not just in autoupdate?

The priority is only evaluated for HotSync, AutoUpdate and when running through an update shortcut. This is by design. It is counter-intuitive to have documents listed in a particular sequence and have them updated in an entirely different order.

If you want to have the priority enforced when updating documents manually, simply sort the documents by the priority column.

That makes sense

That makes sense! Thanks. I didn't think of that. Now that you mention it, I see what you mean. Some times it takes someone talking it out to look at the way the developer meant to.

Also, by the way thanks for the Sunrise XP! I was always having sunrise crash on me if I left 5 threads running and it came across large documents. It might fail, it might now. Now it runs through all of them like a charm! I have even gotten ambitious and am planning to run them to SD card. I currently have a 46meg site that I created with pictures and can run through 20 sites all in the span now of say 20 minutes. Very sweat!

I am moving to a Tx soon (within the week) and hope it works out just as well.
