clearly hovercraft are the vehicle of choice for eels. what were they thinking ? patricia, you should write them a little note and let them know. eels on ladders, pff, absurd. how on earth do they expect them to hold on ?

Sorry, but how do you know? This really should be the subject of a poll, open only to MR readers who are eels (or a closely related sub-family).

i've got some very good friends who are eels. believe me, the subject of transportation with them is like drm here.

OK - I bow to your superior knowledge. I don't really have any eel friends; don't get the wrong idea though, I'm not an eelist, there just are as many round here.

One of my favorite novels is Underwater Transportation by Van Eel. Mr. Eel is probably one of the more famous eel authors. You can read more about this book here:

Great find, Dreams!

I can only assume that the "eels and ladders" game has been produced by the Welsh government in order indoctrinate, and desensitize the little Welsh tikes to the horrible plight facing the Welsh eels and the horrific, and decidedly eel-unfriendly Welsh eel ladders.

Next thing you know the Welsh government will be putting out games romanticizing the hunting of Welsh whales!
