I'm a stranger here, myself...
I am fulfilling a promise to a sick friend (or maybe I'm doing this on a dare, I can never remember).
I showed up all ready to post something relevant, but noticed that this forum is for non-relevant posts. Heck, I'm flexible. Well, it may have taken SOME wind out of my sails. And I didn't top off the gas tank, so I could be stranded here until high tide. Things could get despirate, as I am down to the last two shots of gin, have only a gallon of cider, and the pisse de moustique (? loose translation?) has not finished fermenting. I will be brave, tho', as I am a MAN, and that's what we do. Besides, there's a ship tender that comes alongside daily, and I can trade him a carton of cigarettes for a case of apple schnaps and a bag of crisps, so I should survive until I can get the ship-to-shore operator to call me a tow truck. Anyway, I've rambled on a bit, I've got to go see my shrink to get a pinwheel. And with that, my obligations are finished. Now I'm in it just for the money. -m. |

Well, howdy, stranger! But I don't think you're much stranger than some of the folks you have met and will meet here. Do you like chocolate bacon donuts? Or chocolate and bacon and donuts - I get confused here... quite often.
Anyway, it's just - pholy |

Quick note while stalling getting ready for work...
Bacon: Check Chocolate: Check Donuts: Cake-style, no glaze preferred, Check Bacon-infused Vodka: The jury is still out on that one... |

sheesh, it's about time you showed up ! it's been AGES !!! i was saving you a cocktail but... well... when you didn't show up for so long, i drank it. no worries, i'll get you another one ! hep, bartender ! another round of zany carters ! make my friend's a double. (just trust me on this. fasten your seatbelt though, the takeoff can be sort of suprising when you're not used to it).
and although a bit more confusion and chaos is always entertaining around here, i'll just state for the record that this is NOT captain pinktoe, for all those who are wondering (he's imaginary, remember ?). |

Well, welcome. The bar's over there. The library's over there. The escape route doesn't actually exist. You can pay the laddy at the door.

If he's already looking for a shrink and a pinwheel -- he had clearly done some reading before posting. And he fits right in! Welcome, mvisconte!
