Greetings from long-time lurker

I've lurked the forums on and off for a long time, and have used a iLiad v. 2 for a couple years. I've started using my reader more in recent months & haunting the forums more as a result. So, I decided that it was past time that I registered & tried to contribute a bit back.

I mainly read a combination of classic fiction (the free out-of-copyright stuff) and escapist fantasy/sci-fi. I also use my reader to read academic journal articles in pdf format that I download for my professional work (so much better than the piles of articles I used to accumulate and have cluttering my office). I've also started to brush up on my French, and am taking advantage of the availability of free readings available in French to practice.
