Sending in for repairs

I am having to send my PSR 505 in for repairs or exchange. I bought it thourgh Dells websites but my warrenty says Sony, so does anyone know for sure who I send it to? I thought Sony since thats what the warrenty says but I wanted to see what others thought first.

Dell would just be the retailer so for warranty stuff you'd want Sony, but you wouldn't want to send it in without contacting them first.
