AvantGo 6.0 adds Windows Mobile 5.0 support
It seems to have been around since last month, a Windows Mobile 5.0-compatible version of the popular AvantGo browser. Version 6.0.3006 is not a major upgrade release, apart from new support for WM 5.0 and multi-byte (Cyrillic and Hebrew) character sets. A new beta will be released in Q1 2006 that includes additional enhancements, such as support for VGA screen resolutions, scrolling behavior options, and additional font-size control. A Windows Mobile Smartphone client is also said to be be available in Q1.You can download the latest version of Avantgo from here. |
