Safest way to get unicode font work without flashing firmware
First I want to say thanks for those who worked the usbnetwork out and the one did the prs-505 unicode font without flashing, his/her work inspired me.
Well... it's not totally without flashing, you need to get usbnetwork working first. Then dump /usr/java/lib/fonts to /mnt/us/fonts . Replace any font you like (I tested with fonts up to 15MB and it worked) ssh to your kindle, and do the following: mount --bind /mnt/us/fonts /usr/java/lib/fonts Now rock with your new unicode fonts.... to deactivate just restart your kindle.

This should also work for screensavers. Just mount --bind the screensaver directory.

This hack even works with unicode PDFs without embedded Fonts!!!! Looks like Amazon engineers have done a great job in font substitution.
