Talking Hi from The Netherlands

I'm a total newbie to the Ebook world. Just received my Sony PRS 300 and it's loading right now.

Have to look around for some books to load on it. I did play with it a little already.

It's going to take some getting used to it, it was a bit heavier then I thought.

And I think I'll have to either use medium or large font size, small is really small. But we'll see if I will like this format.

I'm a gadget lover so when I saw the digital reading advertised on bol.com I just had to give it a try. I loved reading when I was in my teens, and for some odd reason I just stopped, but I would love to get into it again and what good excuse then to buy an Ereader?

I have the pink/red PRS 300 and I love it, beautiful color and also ordered the rose cover with it which fits beautifully colorwise.

I do think I'll be mostly reading English books as in Dutch there isn't much choice yet.

Selexys, studon & vanstockum (.nl) could provide a start.
Also be sure to check the bol and mybebook sites for some (Dutch) freebees.

Welcome to MobileRead, Dax123!

I read most of my ebooks in the M font size unless it's late at night and my eyes start getting tired and then I bump it up to the L size. I guess I could just go to sleep but where's the fun in that! We have tons of free ebooks you can download in the Epub or lrf formats right here at MR. Just click the blue <Ebooks> at the top left of the page and Enjoy!!

Happy Reading.

Thanks both for your welcome, I'm already doing some shopping around. Downloaded some romance books already and have 2 books in my shopping cart at bol.com, all English.

Bah, Dutch books are overrated anyway!

Welcome to the madhouse! One advice, beware the Lounge. It will suck you in and never release you...

Hi dax123 and welcome to MobileRead. You can ignore all the comments about the Lounge being addictive. You're already here and YOU ARE HOOKED like the rest of us.

Resistance is futile!

Thanks for this; I sometimes feel alone in disliking Dutch writers; for the last 30 years I mostly readEnglish and American books, in English
