Come on guys! I know some of you already recieved your either black or white ones. Please be kind and share with us some pictures and review. Or even just a thought. Ive been dying to see one so badly. Thanks in advance!

I posted a Review of Hanlin V5 for V3 owners. No pictures, and my conclusion is that it is mostly like a V3 (which isn't a bad thing).

You know, I'm betting that most of us who preordered ended up getting one of the colors instead of white or black. Wonder if that's why there's so few reviews and other user commentary posted. I know Robertb can't possibly comment on preorder quantities without getting in trouble, but has anyone done an informal poll here to see how the numbers break down?

I was a bit disappointed in the ZD Net video. The reviewer didn't know the max size SD card supported and wasn't too sure about Epub support either. I did like seeing an actual video of the EZ Reader Pocket Pro in action though.

Here is how the ordering has broken down on the Pocket PRO so far:

1. Black

2. Slate Blue

3. Arctic White

4. Maroon Lagoon

5. Metallic Purple

6. Fucsia Pink

I am happy to say that ALL colors are selling well and Fuscia Pink is not far behind at all!!

The best news is that yesterday was a real storm of orders coming in. I think the reviews did the trick. People KNOW about the Pocket PRO now and they like what they are reading. We have announced new firmware upgrades today... showing the support that the factory gives us!

We HOPE tomorrow or Friday we can announce the four colors have arrived! They are finished and did pass customs and are shipping. They are waiting for an available plane (Johnson and Johnson right now is booking planes like crazy and there will be no air freight flights allowed from Asia to USA between September 10 and September 12 due to the terrorism on September 11 in New York years ago... may we never forget)!

Yes, me too. It was really VERY pink and not enough violet in my opinion. But, the graphics specialist picked it out and I went along in order to get the Slate Blue just like I wanted. In Astak you learn to "copitulate". I DID want something for the female part of the buying audience.

The Fuscia Pink has been great so far. People seem to find it a soft, warm, and unique color. I know of a little girl in Australia with her heart set on that color. Anyway, yes... it has been well received!

Thank you!! I know whatever I say always gets branded "salesman's hype" but I believe the Pocket PRO is as good or better than what I said.

One person who posted said it best: "it is a pleasure reader". Despite all the great features and the upgrades and the colors and the Epson controller... it is going to be best said as "a device for people who really enjoy reading and take pleasure in it". I base this on the intuitive controls, the MP3, the great clarity of the screen, the sheer convenience of the size, and the numerous formats... and you can personalize with the colors.
