Labor Day
Sooooo... after reading mgmueller thread (who hasn't), I got "infected" (and again, who hasn't
![]() I have an opus, which is my first reader, and I love it, but so does my husband and it ends up being hijacked all the time. I was not impressed by the pics I saw on the web of the PRS-505, but many here were praising it, so I actually went to a shop to have a non-virtual look and foremost feel at it. Loved it, but wasn't sure about the colour. They only sell silver ones in Germany. (can you now feel this is going to be a post very much like: I like this pair of high heels, because it is cute and red, but I like this pair too, because it is cute and pink, so I'll buy both ?) Found a red one on the web, it arrived pretty quickly and I must say I totally fell in love. But ... can't take it in all my handbags, only in some. Nevermind, would you think, and of course you would be wrong, because this is not the way it goes ![]() So, to cut a long story short ![]() Well that was it really. It is Labor Day, so it won't ship today. I am sorry about it, so I decided to have my own pity party. There you go. I am silly, I now ![]() Last edited by aceflor; 09-07-2009 at 06:14 AM. |

I am super duper happy. The 505 will stay at home and the 300 will stay in my bag.

There is no way he will touch it or even look at it. Neither will my son, that is for sure. My daughter now is a whole other story. And if she thinks it's magical and could transform her into either a princess or a fey, we have problems.

its really more of a red (perhaps a cranberry) I think most people would not say "pink" when they saw the color. Below is Sony standard pink (in a laptop) and the "reader Pink"

That is the red reader. I have it and it is red. They were talking about the rose colored PRS-300. Which is a different color entirely than the PRS-600.

So, I have a black/blue 505 somewhere in my house. I put it down one morning three weeks ago and I can't remember where. I decided there and then to buy any color but black and am leaning toward Red when the 2121 comes out. I found a silver 505 at Costco for a great price so it will have to keep me going until then. I did buy an M-Edge light brown cover that stands out and I got a red cover for my DX. At least I have a better chance of finding it if I am in a rush and put it down in less than obvious place. Short term memory loss is a real drag.
