iliads buy now or wait?

Right, I'm halfway into buying one (well, confirmed but waiting on my end for reasons..) so its a bit late to ask this. Is the iliad v2 still worth 300€ used? I mean they were going for 600 new, but with the dr800 coming up.. then again, I'm not that interested in the drm side or the wireless. So I mean, what could I gain from that anyway? I'm planning on reading both pdf's and novels and comics, later splurging for a opus is money allows. Comics is the main target I think, after that pdf's.

I'd say that really depends on you. I personally would not get anything smaller than the DR for PDF's, but that's just me. And I haven't tried reading comics on an e=ink screen at all (not even sure where to get them), so I can't speak to that.

I'm sure the Iliad works fine, but whether it is "worth it" is a valuation that only you can really make for yourself. I will say however that the next iRex device, whatever it is and whatever features it has, is a long way off.

I can't afford a DR, so a used Iliad is the best I can get for pdfs. But thanks for the reply, I'll go ahead and buy it then.
