"womble!" thought little AM. "all I need is a good womble!" little did she know that her powers of telepathic communication had ratcheted up several levels in power since her last outing, and a dead hush fell over the room. "DAMNIT!" she wept, "why am I such a thread killer?"

Killer heels? Check. Literally. The stiletto heels were lethal. In a pinch they could be removed and hammered through some-one's heart or head, but generally they tended to kill simply by causing the wearer to fall over and break their neck.

"Neck" said the captain. "That's where Am's stiletto heel penetrated the corpse. I wonder she is now."

Now that was a dilemma. To ditch the shoes after the deed had been done and so cover the tracks a bit, or to keep them and run the risk of being discovered.

RIVAL cruise lines offered the most marvelous packages: I chose the "Modern Vampires" cruise, and brought along my wood-heeled stilettos, just for safety.

Safety catch? Nope - no use for one of those. Quick release catch - now that was more like it. Of course, both are unusual items on shoes, and she had no end of problems trying to find just the right pair.

"Pair of Aces" he laughed, as he slapped them on the table. Unfortunately, his opponent scored Three Twos' on the river. His life savings. Gone.
