Sony PRS 300 & 600 Build

Hello everyone!

I've been wondering if anyone has any information as to what material Sony used to construct their new 300 and 600 units. Have Sony opted to use a hard plastic composite or have they used the same type of material as deployed in the manufacture of the PRS-505? Thanks folks for any info you may have on this.

Probably hard plastic like the prs-700.

"Hard plastic"? PRS-700's body is painted aluminium. Just try scratching it a bit.

Yeah? I swear it feels like plastic to me but I've heard that it's aluminum, I just didn't believe it. Hmmm... then again, they did offer engraving so perhaps it is aluminum but just feels not quite as solid as the 505. That 505 is a hard act to follow; they did everything right with that one.
