Ogden, George W.: The Flockmaster of Poison Creek v1 11 aug 2009
George Washington Ogden was an oldtime newspaperman (born 1871) who has written westerns (Whiskey Trail, Windy Range, etc.) and whose verse was once reprinted in the old Literary Digest.I couldn't find out more about him.
