Blackberry Charger on my PRS-500?
Is it possible / advisable to use my Blackberry charger on my PRS-550? Assuming its the same mini usb connection, that is.

Is it a wall charger?

Wall chargers with a usb connection don't usually work, however if you're talking about a usb to mini usb cable it should be fine.

If it's a charger that plugs into a wall socket it won't work.

If it's just a USB cable you can connect to your computer and the 505 then it will work.

You can get a dedicated 505 charger from sony, or alternative you can get a psp wall charger.

You need a different type of connection to go in a power socket rather than the usb connection if you're using a wall charger.

I don't have a car so don't know about car chargers!

It does have a mini usb port, but this can only be used for charging when connecting the 505 to a computer, it doesn't work with wall chargers. It's also used for data transfer.
