Kindle 2 Dictionary lookup malfunction(?)
Using Kindle 2 with default dictionary.
User guide states: 1. Move the 5-way controller up or down to display the cursor. 2. Move the 5-way in front of the word you want to look up. 3. If the word is found in the dictionary, a defnition extract appears at the bottom of the screen. However, definition extracts do NOT appear for many words although the words ARE in the dictionary (can be seen by reading the dictionary.) For example, try moving the 5-way to the word "the". No extract appears but "the" is in the dictionary. Any solutions or comments? |
