Hello everyone from sunny Spain
Hi there
I have just joined as I am about to receive my first ereader device, the Sony er 505. I have been using ebooks in my laptop for months and have used Calibre to store and index them, so I hope to learn from the experienced people around.

Hi columela welcome to Mobileread, enjoy your new toy when it arrives!. I have had a 505 for some months now and would not be without it. I also used to read on my laptop but the eye strain is a killer.

You will find many friendly and helpful people here so ask any questions you may have & someone will know the answer.

Hello Columela - hello everybody.

I am also based in sunny Spain... but I admit that Columela (Málaga) wins me here (Madrid).

I've has a PRS-505 for about nine months and REALLY like it. In fact I've been actively recommending "the joy of ebooks" to all my friends - and have now built a small "users community" around me. I'm using Calibre.
