Ended damaged Sony 505 - for free!

It is now official: after all my trials to fix my beloved reader, I had to realize that the mainboard is toasted...
As I remember the hassle I went through in order to get a spare part, I am offering you my non-fixed reader for free...

What do you get?
1 as-new red prs metal case
1 chewed silver prs metal case ( it survived a multi storey fall!)
1 functioning screen
1 original sony faux-leather protector
1 fried mobo with proof for the lack of my soldering skills

I will be back in germany in the end of july and will be able to send off the reader then, as I am currently in the fiscal year end for my company and can't take days off.

Please do not reply if you just intend to sell the parts on ebay- I will check posts to see whether you indicated a problem earlier on.

If you live in Europe, I will cover shipment if you can not afford it. For the rest of the world, please return it back via paypal AFTER you have the parts...

sloppy soldering

It works, but the numbers on the side of the reader will not cause any input...

If Spectrum doesn't want it I am more than happy to take it off your hands, willing to pay the postage to the UK for your generosity.

(reread initial post, I only want it for my inevitable screen destruction. If someone with more need wants it, let them have it.)

I would like to get your Sony 505. As I only have an old ebookwise 1150 I would try to repair it myself.

I'm living in Germany so you could send it to me "per Nachmahme" so payment for porto would be guaranteed.

I appreciate that you and others would like to have a eink reader as a replacement for your old one, but this is about to help somebody out who has broken his/her reader and is thus currently bereft of ANY reader.
If nobody like that is found, I will consider the alternative.

Alternativly, you could get my damaged reader (broken screen and casing but with working MOBO) for a nominal fee
