Attempt to add 1187 ebooks in one folder fails silently

Trying to add a folder with 1187 books (single directory) silently fails. No import window pops up, no errors. Just select files, hit Open and... nothing happens.

Windows 7 RC x64.

Adding books is much more robust in the 0.6 series, in 0.5 you're better off adding books in small batches.
