NEWS FLASH: Fictionwise's sale has ended.

...at least, until the next one. Yes, the sale that caused me to spend over $200 is now over, thank the demons!

It's now back to business as usual.....until they have their next sale!

Awk and bow-wow!

NOTE: Don't worry if you missed out on the sale; they'll have another one soon. Now, for my next prediction....I predict that a major Publisher will soon offer DRM'd Free ebooks in two months. The name of the publisher is....Oh, I'm so sorry. My crystal ball is fading. 200 soles, por favor?

In the spirit of helpfulness, tomorrow is Jefferson Davis Day in the US, and the 4th is Emancipation Day in Tonga.

This url http://kitchenwitch.entreamisgroup.c.../worldcal.html is helpful for finding an excuse for a party/celebration/sale etc.

When I was overseas, my multinational ex-pat friends had so much fun celebrating Passover with me that we decided there should be an occasion every time we went out, so we kept joking we should look up the special holidays of every obscure country we could and celebrate them all. Sounds like somebody beat me to it!

Oh No I missed another sale. How long till the next one?
Seriously I think BoB and fictionwise must be in some competition for the most amount of sales they can fit in.

They may be in competition, but I think one does a great job and the other one is ho-hum. I'm not going to tell you which one....

HA!

I am in the process of reading an ebook - for the first time, mind you - that I bought in 2004! (Sad, but true, my digital TBR pile is monstrous).

Gees,
Here I am feeling a little guilty because I haven't read ones I purchased late last year yet or some of the Sony, Harper Collins and Random House freebies from last year

There are still some books I bought in 2005 and never read... The one I allude to in my post is the third of a series... And I already read the first two. But it's now so long ago, I think I'll first have to read those first two again before I can start on the third
