The BeBook 2 does looks very much like a Kindle clone, but with a touch screen instead of a keyboard. Note that it has built in "wireless that will work anywhere in the world". The optional wireless SD card is for the BeBook and the BeBook Mini.

Does anyone know if the BeBook 2 has WiFi as well as 3G or not?

According to GalleyCat, the optional wireless card comes with numerous ebook stores preconfigured on it, including Barnes & Noble's online store (BN.com). This could prove to be good Kindle competition.

According to the video posted some time ago it has both WiFi and 3G.
