AEH (EBooksWriter) Converter

Anyone know of any free software to convert from AEH (EBooksWriter) to something useful?

Why not request this added as an input/output format for Calibre? I'm on a roll with formats for 0.6 (7 new output, 4 new input) and another supported format wouldn't hurt. Where can I get some books in this format and do you know of any place that has information about the format? The wiki has enough information to get me started but a specification on the metadata and markup used by the test would speed up implementation.

Well, if you're willing to give it a go. I don't know anything about the format; I was just asking for someone on the Amazon boards. Here's the book they're interested in:

These "books" come with their own ereader software which installs automatically. A shortcut is created to the book itself, which is an AEH file.

If you want more books, google for EBooksWriter and I think you'll find some.

Edit: Well, there's a sample of Wizard of Oz on http://ebookswriter.com/ but I couldn't find any other AEH books offhand.

At least initially the new system is unlikely to works as well as the old one, it will take a while for the bugs to get ironed out.

I did look into it. There is too little information out there in regard to the format that I was not able to keep any formatting or images. As it stands it's possible to create an input plugin but the time it would take is beyond what I'm willing to spend.
