Hello from San Antonio

I have had my prs-505 for less than a month and I love it.

I hope to find some interesting news and enticing conversations for decades to come.

Well, we'll try and promise a few days, anyway. I'm based in Big D, but I'm from San Antonio de Bexar (behar or bear depending...).

Welcome.

How do you like your 505 and what color did you get?

In case you haven't discovered, did you know you can borrow ebooks from the library to be read on your Sony?

Either check your local library or check our Wiki https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/EBook_Lending_Libraries

Lastly, if you enjoying reading classics check out the plethora of ebooks formatted by our members for those works that are out-of-copyright. Look for the E-Books link in the blue bar at the top of the site.

Hello willanaya -- welcome to MobileRead. I live about an hour north of the DFW Metroplex. It's good to be a Texan!

I own a Sony reader as well as a Kindle. I just got home from a three day road trip (driving from Reno to home, towing a small U-Haul trailer), and got a lot of reading done. Mostly I read on the Kindle, but there were two free books that I had downloaded in PDF format that I wanted to read and it was so nice that I could just plunk them onto the Sony reader and not have to worry about doing any reformatting. Also, my hubby bought me the Sony cover with the built-in light wedge and that makes it very easy to read in the dark without bothering the driver!

We're glad you've joined us here at MobileRead.

Hi Willanaya,

I have had my 505 for almost 2 months now, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm reading my 3rd ebook...unfortunately I've been slow getting started since I have more paperback books than I know what to do with. But in time, I'll switch over. I love my 505 and I've learned so much from this website already, and I'm STILL learning.

Happy reading!

Welcome! I love my 505 as well, and read library books almost exclusively on it, currently, although I have quite a collection of (mostly free) books I will be reading as well. Yaaay for sony!
