Converting prc -> epub takes 10 hours...
It takes forever actually. The PRC file is 17MB, and when I try to open it the reader keep loading forever too.

Is that the problem with file locking or anything else? please advice. I badly need it to be converted for viewing on Gphone

I think the process probably got stuck. Exit Kindle and reboot (or kill any calibre-parallel.exe if you know how) and try converting again.

Try using the command line to do the conversion. Use any2epub as the program to convert. If that fails, use mobi2oeb and then use html2epub giving the OPF file as the source.

any2epub --margin-top=0 --margin-bottom=0 --margin-right=0 --margin-left=0 "nameofbook.prc"
and then there is also....

mobi2oeb "nameofebook.prc"
Code:
html2epub --margin-top=0 --margin-bottom=0 --margin-right=0 --margin-left=0 "nameofebook.opf"
The above two must be done in order. But try the first one before the last two.

I have found the ebook-convert.exe in the calibre folder. I'm trying to convert a chm file to epub. But there's an error -
ValueError: No plugin to handle input format: chm
