Getty Thesaurus of Geo. Names

I found this while wandering around online. The online version is searchable, and the content is available under license. I'm waiting to hear back on the terms of the license.

The content is organized as XML files. I've looked, and I think it would be easy to convert to an ebook.

The cost of the license is $1000, which is a little beyond what I can afford. It's also an absurdly high fee to charge for public domain data. Of course, they think they have a copyright.
