calibre not seeing 505
Suggestions needed........

prs 505 not showing up in calibre (currenty on 0.5.10 but disappeared whilst on .09)

Running win xp pro. 505 and sd showing in windows.

Additional info:

1. had malwear show in VC but cleared/healed and not showing on recheck.
2. Uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled calibre.
3. Reset 505.
4. removed SD

Scratching head at moment.

Looks like WMI is disabled/not working on your computer, there was a post a little while ago from someone having a similar issue, search for "WMI" and you should find it

Ok thanks for reply. It does'nt mean much to me but will try tomorrow.

Had a read of all threads that came up in search..........got headache but no wiser :-/

Will reinstalling win xp fix this problem?
