Upload Path Error

I just installed calibre on my sony 500, works fine and finds the reader. However each time I try to upload a book, I get this path error. Im stumped,
Job: **Upload 1 books to device:The Crisis**
**PathError**: Could not create file /Data/media/books/The_Crisis_-_Winston_Churchill_2.lrf. Response code: 0xffffffd7L

that is a problem in your reader, try installing the connect software and connecting using that, it may fix it for you

Then I've bricked it. The connect software won't reinstall, it has to be installed with an -a switch on win2k

I had a similar problem, but was able to fix it by using the calibre prs500 command directly from a command window. You can use the --help option with this command to see what options are available

I had to first use it to get a list of what files/folders were there using the 'ls' option. I found that I was missing some of the folders from the path, but was then able to create them using the 'mkdir' option to the command.

Since doing that everything has performed fine.
