losing page breaks

I am converting from .epub to mobi and all of my page breaks are lost. There are separate files within my .epub file to show the page breaks. Is there a setting I can use that will retain these?

Would appreciate any help!

the calibre MOBI viewer does not show page breaks, the page breaks will still be there in the MOBI file and will be shown in a viewer that does support page breaks

Thanks for the response. When I load the mobi file onto my Kindle, the page breaks still do not show up. Any suggestions?

IIRC, the K2 doesn't respect page breaks either. Somebody that uses it should be able to confirm/deny that. As far as I remember, from when I used it briefly, it will not respect a page break unless you happen to follow a link directly to the top of a page.

Actually, maybe I'm wrong and calibre's MOBI output doesn't insert the page breaks for content from different files, I'll check it out and get back to you later today.

It was a regression. Will be fixed in the next release.

Unfortunately the release breaks the device detection routines and doesn't appear to install on Linux, so we'll have to wait a while longer.
