I'm an old guy, an avid reader, from central British Columbia. I hope to learn enough about E-Readers here to make a good buying decision.

Hi Timetrvlr and welcome to MobileRead. The more old guys, the better.

The Sony 505 is a great device; I've had mine for over a year now and like it a lot. But, don't listen to that ShortNCuddlyAm; the blue is a much better device

Yes, there's loads of information here that's helped me make my buying decision - sony 505 as well!

What I realised is that all the readers are great for different things and you have to work out what matters most to you. I chose the 505 because I tried it and liked reading on it, and that was what mattered most to me.
