Default cover image

Is there any way to change the default cover image to something other than the first page of the file being converted?

By that I mean *other* thank going through each file and changing the metadata individually and clicking the button to change to cover image. I'm working with a LOT of fan-fiction files for a community and I don't want to have to change that image one file at a time.
