I found this site via Calibre's homepage, looking for a good ebook reader app for my MSI Wind netbook. Unless I'm missing something, Calibre is not what I'm looking for

If anyone's familiar with the CDisplay comic book viewer, something like that would be ideal: lightweight, defaults to fullscreen, easy to configure rotation and page fit, and able to display the various file formats.

Even if I can get Calibre to do all that, it's WAY too big--I might as well be starting up iTunes.

The Wind's 10" screen and light weight are perfect for comics and should be more than ample for ebooks, if I can just find the software to do it justice. I haven't tried ebooks up til now, and I'm eager to get started.

Hi taosaur and welcome! Hope you find the perfect, or nearly perfect, reading software.

Thank you =) I found FBReader, which is pretty darn good. I was getting worried for a while there, seeing how many readers for Windows were just an afterthought slapped on to a syncing program or cloned from a phone app.
