Long time listener, first-time...
... buyer, I guess. :)
Finally bought an eBook reader (decided on Sony's PRS-505) and now I'm starving for more information. I also picked up a book scanner (Plustek OpticBook 3600) and have been scanning in some of my books so I can carry them with me digitally. Anybody have recommendations on a PRS-505 case/shell to help me not destroy the screen? |

Hi clee and welcome to MobileRead. I've had a 505 for over a year now and really like it.
I use an MEdge Executive cover for regular reading and an MEdge Leisure cover for the gym, travel and beach. The Leisure cover has a padded inset you place the 505 into then the cover, which is clear plastic zips shut. Although not waterproof it is water resistant thus good for the beach, a boat and at the gym. And, when I travel, I place the 505 into the Leisure cover screen first to give it a bit more protection in my carry on.  I have the *BLUE* 505 and love it... I haven't used anything but the original cover so far and my Reader goes with me everywhere. No problems so far.  Make sure to check out the Wiki and the Writers' Corner.. |

I used the original cover until my hubby bought me the lighted cover for Christmas. I added a book bungee to keep the cover shut when it's in my backpack.
