Typical newsfeed times?

Should the CNN feed take 9 min 35 seconds?

Yes. That is the price of using printthis service. For something faster modification to the recipe would be required. I suggest to raise a issue in calibre trac since this is Kovid's recipe.

No. There should be arround 80 or so of them. You can see the author of the recipe in the get news dialog on the right side of it.
