Hi there.
Not sure what this forum is all about. Have inherited a kindle from my sister who was living in the states. Finding it of very little use here in Oz, but hoping to find ways to fix that.

You can download free books from here,

Just to name a few. There are also 'work arounds' to get Amazon books on your kindle.

Welcome and enjoy your Kindle, Have you read books on a PDA or other device? If you have then, it makes it much easier to get Kindle content.

Welcome to the forum. I am sure that once you get some books on your Kindle you will enjoy it. I love the e-reading experience, to be able to carry a whole library around with me is awesome
