Calibre for OS X doesn't want to open

Since upgrading to 0.5.1, Calibre doesn't want to open. I click on it and the icon bounces one and that's it.

I ran the "calibre-debug -g" command from terminal and got this:

calibre-debug -g
File "/usr/bin/calibre-debug", line 24
os.chmod(loader_path, 0700)
^
SyntaxError: invalid token

I solved my problem by re-downloading the latest version, deleting the one I have on my hard drive, and then re-installing. Seems to work okay for now.
