Thanks! I love Stephen King, although lately he has been hit or miss. Last one I really enjoyed was The Cell. Haven't finished Ur yet.

This is supposedly Kings next great work after the Stand. Its listed at around 1100 pages.

Yeah and hes really carefull bout what he cuts out too. He said he had a horrible time trying to cut the first edition of The Stand down, and felt bad doing it. Thats why he released the uncut version years later, when he had almost total control of his books.

Wait wait wait wait... are you saying that he submitted a "printed manuscript" to his publisher? Is that still done? Wouldn't they want a Word doc?

That is the word doc. Hes been using a computer for years. They still want it in paper form.

You know how it chokes on big documents.

Still, absolutely insane that the manuscript is 1500 pages long and 19lbs.
