Can't access preferences in .5.0 OSX

When I try going into the preferences, I get teh following error. I've tried uninstalling (with Hazel deleting extra files) and re-installing, still get same error.

argument 2 of QComboBox.addItem() has an invalid type

TypeError: argument 2 of QComboBox.addItem() has an invalid type

Just tried this - worked ok.

MacBook Pro 2007
10.5.6

Anything specific I should try?

I've uploaded a fixed OSX build, re-download and try it.
