Is it just me that finds this morbidly amusing?
I was just catching up on my podcasts and listened to a CBC interview with Steve Knopper. He's an editor from Rolling Stone who wrote a book about the decline of the Recording industry titled "Appetite for Self-Destruction: The Spectacular Crash of the Record Industry in the Digital Age". I was struck by the similarities with the Publishing Industry that we've been discussing in the forum.

When I got home I looked up his book because I wanted to read it.

The interview was in a podcast from CBC: The Best of As It Happens from Jan 29, 2009 if anyone wants to hear it. Some of it was pretty basic explanation of how Napster worked etc... but when he spoke about the industry it was interesting.
