AACCKKK........how do you submit a poll without first posting a thread?

Each time, the thread posts BEFORE I get to the page with the polling questions.

Once upon a time it posted together. That was a long time ago. Now you just check the poll box when you compose a thread, click the box to post and it posts the thread while you work on the poll.

I posted a poll recently and someone did get in and ask where the poll was. Just the nature of the beast.
