Hello from Krishav
Hi all,
I'm Krishav. I read a lot of long books as PDFs, and they never look right on a small screen, so I've spent the last few months working on PDF to EPUB conversion: putting paragraphs back together, finding chapters, and OCR for scanned books. I found this forum through old k2pdfopt and Calibre conversion threads, which taught me a lot. Looking forward to learning more here, and happy to help with PDF conversion questions where I can. Welcome to MobileRead!
PDF conversions usually suck, so I tend to avoid PDF format like the plague. Fortunately most books I'm interested in reading are available as epubs. |

Buy something with a larger screen (if you have the funds).
I have a first Generation Amazon Scribe and it works great on PDFs. Too, I find that for some PDFs, a Kobo Libra Colour - it has a small screen - can work fine in landscape mode on some PDFs. I primarily read fiction. Welcome to Mobileread. Look around and get acquainted with the Forums and with our Posting Guidelines. Last edited by Dr. Drib; Today at 06:20 AM. |
