BookShelves 1.0.43: iPhone Duo, two-page spreads, steadier OPDS and Calibre downloads

[QuietShelfLife]

Hi everyone,

BookShelves 1.0.43 is out for Mac, iPhone and iPad. The parts most relevant here:

Downloads
- Big books from OPDS catalogs and Calibre no longer stop halfway, even on a slow connection
- Catalog pages stay as you left them when you go back, and Select All picks every book on the page

Import
- Books with the same title and author (a second edition, separate volumes) now import as books of their own
- Zipped FB2 (.fb2.zip) and Markdown files import when you choose them, drag them in or, on Mac, import their folder
- Chinese text files no longer come in as Korean, and text with accented letters no longer turns into Chinese or Korean characters

Reader
- New Book Fold setting: a soft shadow down the middle of two-page spreads in books, PDFs and comics. On iPhone and iPad the book's title sits over one page and the chapter over the other
- On iPad in landscape, choose one page or two
- The Contents list shows the page each chapter starts on; search results, bookmarks and highlights show their page too
- Footnotes and links go to the right chapter, and highlights that run onto the next line or paragraph come back in full
- Japanese and Chinese books keep the page direction you choose

iPhone Duo
- Library and books look right on both the inner and the outer screen, and two-page spreads meet at the fold. On the inner screen, read one page or two

Comics and keyboard
- Manga marked for right-to-left reading opens that way
- On iPad, the arrow keys page in the book's reading direction; on Mac, Space and Shift-Space page through PDFs and comics

Library
- Titles sort the way you count, so Volume 2 comes before Volume 11
