[Update] 2026-11-04 - Better custom columns, folder book source, customizable search

Expanded the Calibre custom column functionality to be included in book info, filters, sorts and templates. Also added a local folder book source (works for iCloud too), and customizable web searches inside the reader. And a few bug fixes, mostly related to book source creation and book downloads.

• Improved custom column handling. All custom columns are now shown in book info, can be used in all templates, as well as in filters and sorts.
• Improved the design of the book info page on smaller screens or with large font sizes.
• Added custom web searches to the text selection popup inside the reader.
• Added 'Folder' book source, which can pick a folder on the device. This includes cloud service backed folders, such as folders in iCloud Drive on iOS.
• Added a more convenient way of sending debug logs to me when something goes wrong (Settings => About => Report a problem).
• Added translations for Croatian, Hungarian and Dutch.
• When failing more than 10 consecutive books while downloading, the process now stops instead of continuing to fail through the entire library.
• Downloads and library moves are now paused when the app is minimized, instead of failing.
• Fixed a failure when using the 'Find more info' function for searching for more information about a book that hadn't been downloaded yet.
• Fixed a few issues regarding creation of Dropbox, Google Drive and OPDS book sources in some cases.
• Fixed an issue that prevented annotation comments from saving on iOS.
• Fixed an issue with too long filenames on iOS.
• Fixed some missing metadata when adding a Calibre server as an OPDS source (and also gave the option to automatically switch to a Calibre content server source, since that's more flexible).
