Tables cut off at bottom of screen

I'm using EPUB, not KEPUB, if that matters. The book displays perfectly in the Calibre viewer and also in Adobe Digital Editions, but on my Kobo Clara, some entries in tables cut off at the bottom of the screen before the text is finished, so some of it can't be read.

I've never dealt with tables before in an ebook so I have no clue what I'm doing. (I didn't build these, this is a self-published ebook I bought.)

The start of the table looks like this

Code:
<table class="class_sfp"><tbody class="calibre2"><tr class="class1"><td class="class_s6a">Advantages</td><td class="class_s6a">Disadvantages</td></tr>

.class_sfp {
  border-bottom-color: gray;
  border-collapse: separate;
  border-left-color: gray;
  border-right-color: gray;
  border-spacing: 2px;
  border-top-color: gray;
  display: table;
  margin-bottom: 0;
  margin-top: 0;
  text-align: justify;
  text-indent: 0;
}
.calibre2 {
  display: table-row-group;
  vertical-align: middle;
}
.class1 {
  display: table-row;
  font-weight: 800;
  vertical-align: inherit;
}
.class_s6a {
  display: table-cell;
  text-align: inherit;
  vertical-align: top;
  padding: 0.0375em 0.117%;
}
Code:
This is one of the entries that cuts off at the bottom of the screen

<td class="class_s6a1"><p class="class_s2k">I am not actually very attractive. I’m a dull black color without much texture. Arilash is a dull tan color without much texture. Roroku is a dull green color without much texture. And so on. Compare that to the drakes: Nrararn with his twirly horn and incandescent mane and pretty cerulean color, Greshthanu with his garden of blue and orange spikes, etc. etc. etc.</p><p class="class_s2k">This is <span class="class_s5v">really</span> just the same as songbirds. Females are dull colors to avoid attracting attention. Males are bright colors to attract attention: attention of <span id="page_30"></span>females, attention of predators, whatever.</p><p class="class_s2k">But I’m not a stupid little <span class="class_s5v">songbird</span>. I’d like to look exciting and dramatic. Again, I could shapeshift or use cosmetic spells the way drakes do, but everydragon can tell that they’re there and pretty much can tell what I really look like too so it doesn’t help.</p></td></tr>

.class_s6a1 {
  display: table-cell;
  text-align: inherit;
  text-indent: 1em;
  vertical-align: top;
  padding: 0.0375em 0.117%;
}
.class_s2k {
  display: block;
  line-height: 1;
  margin: 0;
}
It seems like the entries don't carry over to the next page; if they're too long for the screen they just cut off instead of carrying over. If I make the font several sizes smaller, it all fits on the screen.

Is there a way to make the entries carry over, or some other way to fix this?
