the 'ebook-viewer' app fails to render text
This is on MacOS, Calibre 9.17.0 . When I try to view an epub doc inside Calibre (which calls 'ebook-viewer.app'), all that displays is the infamous "question mark in a box" that usually indicates a missing font.
I can read the given epub document in any other reader app just fine. Is this a bug in the latest Calibre, or did I somehow screw up the directory path that Calibre uses to find fonts? |

Check the Calibre 8.10 Book Viewer not displaying text for some help with font issues and MacOS.
